Why are these so random? because I literally made like 1 or 2 a day for the past few weeks, so yes they are completely random.
Also, I just discovered how much these suck..

^^
are those banners annoying to you? I seriously have absolutely no idea where I came up with the idea to use them....

So, I've been cooped up inside all day writing History papers, (somehow I got thrown into an AP history class as a freshman...) and unable to enjoy this gorgeous spring day.  (oh btw. I'm online-schooled this year, I'm going to some small arts school next year.  But don't think I'm one of those strange homeschooled kids who sit around reading Harry Potter all day.. I assure you I'm not)  Well anyway long story made short, I finally got to my digital photography class, which required me to go outside and take some photos of my house... (what an interesting subject..)  but to my relief it was more interesting than writing 600 word dialogues between Confucious and Laozsdjfkasd <see I can't even spell his name.  So I went outside, and to the amusement of all my neighbors, looked like an idiot taking random photos of my house in jeans and a T-shirt. (I never.. ever.. wear that except when I'm sitting in my house or doing chores)  Well anyway, I took this picture I really liked of a birdbath outside my house...

Spreading Some Spring Cheer!

I used to hate Spring as a child.  Probably because of my allergies, which magically disappeared at the age of 13.  Still, Winter was always my favorite season... that is, until we bought a vacation house in the mountains.
I live in a very strange part of the States.. I live smack-dab (hehe did I just say that?) in the middle of the state, which is average temperature. Very little snow, if any.. and has four distinct seasons.  If I drive 3 hours west, I end up in the coldest and most uninhabitable place in the world. (no not the arctic, the appalachain mountains)  and if I drive 3 hours east, I end up at the beach. Weird.
Well instead of picking to buy a house at the lovely beach, my parents chose the mountains.. and after spending one winter there, you never appreciate winter again.  We all used to laugh when people from up north would move down here and say how much they hated snow, now I know what they mean. However, the mountains is absolutely lovely throughout the rest of the year.. boring... but lovely.

Well I'm off to go bake a cake for my best friend's 17th birthday.. and then I think I'm going to make a lemon pie recipe I found in Southern Living just for me (:

Hope you all are well (:

So, my favorite brit asked me a question a few days ago about the U.S constitution.  I was able to answer it vaguely, but I still wasn't 100% sure of my answer (sorry Emma haha) But that got me thinking..

If she had asked me a question about England's history I could more than likely answer it with 100% certainty. (not that I'd need to, she's brilliant)  I spend so much time studying English and French Monarchs I haven't even realized I don't know half as much about my own country. Isn't that awful?  For instance, I could name just about every significant date in Henry VIII's life, yet I cannot name the year the American Revolution ended. For some reason I am more intrigued by Royalty and aristocracy than I am by a  "Mr. President"  However, it's "Mr. President" who is the most powerful man in the world right?  Well anyway you put it, I felt like disgusting traitor. (yes, I do make everything in my life that dramatic) So I decided to pick out a favorite president, since I have favorite queen's and kings, It evens things up.

Alas! I have come to my conclusion!
(whoaa Deja-vu!)

Andrew Jackson
7th President of The United States
Total Bad-ass

Yes, I do happen to choose my favorite leaders by their personalities.  (Heaven forbid I ever hold a government station)  I never said he was the best President, just my personal favorite. (that is subject to change however, after I have more than 45 minutes briefly skimming Wikipedia)

Why: I could see his life as the plot of a box-office-topping movie.  Yes, it was that dramatic. As a child he was slashed with a Britain's sword during the revolution for refusing to wipe his boot, He saved his wife from an abusive husband, became a war-hero and general, during his campaign his opponent's attacked his wife calling her a "bigamist whore" which in Jackson's mind led to her death a few days later from a heart attack, swore to take down the men who killed his wife, possibly single-handedly started the Civil war by firing his Vice President John Calhoun, who went back to south carolina and fought for state's independence (yeah I don't buy it either, but you know the over-analyzing historians at the History Channel) Oh yeah, and fired his VP because his wife wouldn't invite Peggy Eaton for tea. (it's called the "petticoat affair")

And I just realized, that above is one rambling mess you can't understand.

Basically because he was a strong and passionate man, who happened to be a total BAMF.

See, I don't have much passion for American History.. which really is a shame. I have to work on that.
Wait I take that back, I do have passion for American History, just not as much as I do for England.

Why England? I've never even been there! Possibly because there is so much history there, a thousand+ years, rather than a few hundred.

Agh, It's 2 am on a friday night, and I'm sitting on my computer talking about history...

Note to self: get a life

Adieu My loves!

So, I frequently visit the Tudors Wiki, which is basically this huge site all about tudor england and the shows.  We have teams on there and I'm the leader of Team Anne Boleyn/Natalie Dormer.

So I worked all night long updating this for the homepage, when alas! animations wont work on the site ):

So I will put it here, to make me feel a little better about wasting hours of my precious life

(You might need to refresh the page to see the animation again, It doesn't loop)
